Developer Dominium Management is in the news again, no thanks to determined
Surprise NIMBYs. The residents are battling out with the city, which tossed out
signatures they collected to try to block a 601-unit affordable housing development via a referendum. Neighbors trotted out the usual “concerns,” including traffic and incompatibility with the area, but the city, which initially approved the development,
booted the petitions on technicalities. The residents lawyered up, and the issue is going to court.
