Real estate arm of Mormon church plans major infill project in Phoenix

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ real estate arm, Property Reserve Inc., is one of Arizona’s largest owners of private land. It’s planning to develop 330 units including apartments, single-family homes and townhomes on 70 acres as part of a bigger project on 180 acres between 71st and 67th avenues just north of Lower Buckeye Road. The rest of the land will include a huge warehouse and industrial site.
