Phoenix wants developers for a high-rise downtown project. See where they want to build.

Proposals are due Jan. 15 to develop a city parking lot near Second and Roosevelt streets in downtown Phoenix’s desirable Roosevelt Row with a high-rise of up to 250 feet. As part of the deal, 20 percent of any housing units will have to be affordable or workforce housing. It’s part of a push by Phoenix in its 2020 housing plan to transform city-owned land into affordable residences.
