Homebuilders scoop up hundreds of lots around the Valley in effort to keep up with demand
Homebuilders are snapping up land again, which will open up new inventory for buyers facing a historically low number of existing homes for sale. Toll Brothers is planning 122 new homes in north Scottsdale and Tri Pointe Homes Inc. plans 165 homes in southwest Phoenix and has started to build 468 homes in the third phase of a community that will boast a total of 1,284 homes. Developers just bought land in Buckeye, Florence and Peoria as well.
