Gilbert unanimously voted to rezone and annex nearly 75 acres that used to house the beloved Cosmo’s Italian restaurant on Power and Williams Field roads in order to create more housing. Di Bella Family LLP will build 628 multifamily units on 28 acres and 238 single-family homes on 32 acres, with and commercial on the remaining 13 acres. Uncharacteristically, not one neighbor so far opposed the project, and four spoke in support.
