Developer plans multifamily community along Loop 202 in Laveen
Liv Communities hopes to break ground by late 2024 on a 362-unit apartment and entertainment project on the northeast corner of Loop 202 and Elliot Road. The three-story development will include studio to three-bedroom units and the entertainment portion might be pickleball courts. That corridor is particularly ripe for housing as thousands of new jobs might be added in the coming years. The Laveen Village Planning Committee recommended approval for the rezoning at its Aug. 14 meeting and it will go before the Phoenix Planning Commission on Sept. 7.
