The Hottest U.S. Rental Markets

Arizona has five of the top 10 “hottest” rental markets in the West, according to a new study by RentCafe. It looked at how popular the largest 150 markets in the U.S. are based on metrics including apartment availability and online searches. While Atlanta ranked first based on user engagement, Chandler, Phoenix, Tucson, Scottsdale and Tempe all made the list of the top 10 in the West. Many top markets tended to be “relatively inexpensive” with healthy economies, the report said.
