Site of proposed 50th Street apartment complex sold
A two-building office complex in Ahwatukee will be converted into an apartment community by luxury home and apartment developer TB Street, a subsidiary of Toll Brothers.
The long-awaited project will be located at 50th Street between Ray Road and Chandler Boulevard.
Original plans called for 417 units with mostly one and two bedrooms, plus a pool, clubhouse, dog park, outdoor barbecues, fire pit and ramada.
“Given the property’s prime location near major employers along Interstate 10 and its proximity to numerous dining, entertainment and retail options along Ray Road, we feel this is well-suited to accommodate additional housing opportunities to support these uses and continued growth in the area.”
