The Central Park, a high-profile mixed-use project originally envisioned as six towers of mostly office space, now hopes to bring mostly multifamily units to Midtown. After Covid-19 shifted demand away from workspace, developer Pivotal Group on Dec. 7 expected to ask Phoenix’s Planning Commission to OK the new incarnation, which would include “a 21-story residential tower; an 18-story office tower; a market/grocer space with an adjacent restaurant; a 320-unit senior independent living community and a pair of eight-story, luxury multifamily towers.”
