New residential tower adds more than 250 units to downtown; plus 7 more Arizona deals to know

AVE Phoenix Sky, a 254-unit residential tower with 17 floors, has opened at 601 N. 3rd Ave. It’s a sister community to a midrise apartment building two blocks away at 555 N. 5th Ave. called AVE Phoenix Terra, which is 94% occupied. The properties offer traditional apartments with long-term leases along with furnished units that can be leased for terms as short as a few weeks. About a quarter of the apartments in the newly opened community are furnished, illustrating the ongoing demand for a variety of housing solutions.
