New Las Vegas private equity firm set to develop 1,000 rental units in Arizona

An investment banking firm out of Las Vegas has created a private equity group that plans to spend more than $400 million on building over 1,000 rentals in Buckeye and Casa Grande. Each parcel will include about 250 single-story homes and 250 garden-style apartments. They chose Phoenix as their debut market due to its pro-business stance and strong population growth, but it also plans to build in Nevada, Texas and Utah.
