More than 1,000 apartment, condo units underway at 120-acre One Scottsdale development

Developers are gobbling up pieces of a 120-acre parcel north of Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road that should deliver 1,250 new multifamily units to the market along with offices and commercial, including restaurants and a resort, under the name One Scottsdale. Texas-based StreetLights Residential is already building a 314-unit luxury apartment complex with leases available in about eight months. Condos at Portico is also under construction and has pre-sold 70 percent of the homes starting at $900,000. Two other apartment projects will supply about 632 units, and there’s room for one more complex. The North 101 corridor has good freeway access and is close to the Scottsdale Airport, so demand has been heating up for the area.
