Maricopa and Pinal Counties are among the fastest-growing populations in the U.S. In 2023, Maricopa County recorded the fourth-highest population increase nationwide, while Pinal County experienced the seventh-highest net domestic migration. Maricopa County welcomed 30,038 new residents, bringing its total population to 4,425,102, making it the fourth-largest county in the U.S. Pinal County has seen a 13.7% population growth since 2020, fueled by major manufacturing ventures like Lucid, Nikola, and Kohler, leading to significant residential expansion. Overall, the Phoenix metropolitan area gained 49,240 residents, reaching a population of 5,070,110, solidifying its position as the eighth-largest growing metro area in the country.
