Kaiser Expects Bills to Increase Housing Supply to Be Amended

Arizona Sen. Stever Kaiser continues his mission to provide much-needed housing by removing barriers to development. HB2536, SB1161 and SB1163, which have bipartisan support, would tap into free market principles that will increase supply and help drop prices. They would speed up zoning and licensing, regulate residential zoning and design, allow by-right construction of affordable housing, and more. Kaiser expects further amendments to all three bills before they go to final votes on the floor.
