Huge changes on tap for Scottsdale’s CrackerJax site as $1B redevelopment takes shape

The first phase of plans to redevelop the former CrackerJax theme park in Scottsdale have been submitted to the city for review.
The $1 billion project called Parque at Scottsdale Road and Tierra Buena Lane is slated to include restaurants, shopping, a 1.7-acre park, an 89-unit apartment building and a 70-unit condominium building.
“We are excited that we are now in this final phase of approval processes that will allow us to move forward with constructing a mixed-use campus that will provide an incredible central park open space surrounded by a five-star hotel and housing, technology incubator space, and recreational opportunities that will attract both local residents and visitors.”
The buildings will be built around a 1.7-acre park space.
