Here are hottest zip codes in Metro Phoenix for apartment construction

RentCafe’s latest study gives shout-outs to several neighborhoods in the Valley for their success in adding housing. More units have been built in some ZIP codes that in entire cities in the past five years. Case in point: Tempe’s 85281 added 5,667 new apartments, making it the sixth-hottest ZIP code nationwide. Downtown Phoenix’s 85004 ranked 26 with 3,754 new units, a 145% increase. Also in Phoenix, 85085 to the north saw 2,002 new units. Goodyear, Gilbert and Scottsdale all made the list, too.
