Flagstaff needs 7,000 more homes, no easy solution in sight

At the fifth meeting of the state’s housing supply study committee held in Flagstaff, one lobbyist blamed burdensome building codes for a shortfall of 7,000 housing units, while city housing and planning officials claimed more incentives are needed fora affordable housing.
