DEA Office Building Converted Into Luxury Apartments in Midtown Phoenix

SOLTRUST RESIDENTIAL REIT

The former headquarters of the Phoenix Drug Enforcement Agency has been turned into a 171-unit development called Alloy Midtown. The project consists of two buildings. Fifty-seven of the 171 units will be located in the former DEA building, while the rest will be in a newly constructed building right next door. The new building is expected to be ready for all residents in about two months. The developer stated that Alloy Midtown is about a $60 million project, and is the largest office building conversion they have worked on in three decades.
