Council OKs senior living center near Old Town
Scottsdale City Council unanimously voted 7-0 to green light a 247-unit senior living facility, despite a last-minute attempt by Mayor David Ortega mayor to add an amendment to increase setbacks to 32 feet from the curb. City ordinance has required a 20-foot setback since 1985.
