Optima, known for its luxury apartments and condos in the Valley, broke ground this month on the ideally situated Optima McDowell Mountain Village in North Scottsdale. It will provide 201 apartments and 1,330 condos in six eight-story buildings providing easy access to Loop 101 and AZ51 and offering proximity to shopping and dining destinations Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland Commons. The sustainable neighborhood is the first project in Arizona to be built under both the new International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and the International Green Construction Code (IgCC).
