CG council unanimously rejects G-Diamond apartment project

Buckling to NIMBYs, the Casa Grande City Council voted 7-0 to stop 120 units of housing in its community. After the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission swatted down the project in December, the developers made changes—including adding landscaping and adjusting the angling—but a cadre of 18 neighbors of G-Diamond Ranch showed up to complain about potential traffic and “degradation” of the neighborhood.
