BTR Market Hits Record High With 39,000 Homes Completed

Single-family build-to-rent (BTR) housing is rapidly expanding beyond the Southeast and Southwest, reaching new regions. The number of BTR homes has more than doubled in five years, from 107,000 to over 217,000. In 2024, 39,000 new BTR homes were completed, marking a significant increase from pre-pandemic years.
