Ambitious real estate firm scoops up more downtown Phoenix property

More housing could be coming to highly desirable Roosevelt Row now that radio station owner Audacy, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Jan. 7, sold its studio building at 840 N. Central Ave. and multiple other parcels. Main & Main RoRo Property Owner LLC bought the real estate, which is zoned as a “high-density, vibrant corridor with a mix of residential and commercial development designed for transit riders.” The firm didn’t comment on the sale but has purchased other lots in the area and made headlines last year for its 36-unit Rainbow Road project apartment building inspired by the Mario Kart video game.
