AMA’s Charitable Arm Gives Over $230,000 To Help With Housing Crisis

The Arizona Multihousing Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of the Arizona Multihousing Association, gave more than $230,000 to five nonprofits this year to help ease the state’s housing crisis. UMOM Day Centers, the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), the Resident Relief Foundation, the Center Of Opportunity and Interfaith Community Services (ICS) received substantial grants to provide shelter and rent assistance and to build communities, particularly for those at risk such as seniors and people with disabilities. The Julie Hurst and Steve Peters Education Fund also received more than $10,000 for scholarships to employees or family members of companies in good standing with the AMA.
