A Flagstaff motel will soon become housing for the homeless

A nonprofit organization providing shelter to those experiencing homelessness in Flagstaff has purchased a former Motel 6 with 103 rooms that it will renovate for transitional housing. The location, called The Lantern, will also provide services such as medical care, food and resources for finding permanent housing.
